One of my latest works in progress.
This was done with the "Mile a Minute" technique. I just made it up spontaneously, and then decided on the large half-square triangles as alternate blocks. It was really a lot of fun.

I envy your quilting skills! It's something I've always dabbled in but never really got in to.
To answer your question about the yarn, as far as I can tell there's no dye lot for the Simply Soft Heather. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure. It's been several months since I finished the project I used it for and after a search I came up empty handed for a label. I checked ravelry (a knit/crochet super community if you're not a member) and didn't see any info about dye lots either. Hope that helps!
Have done many types of needlework and sewing since the 1960's, including handspinning.
I am devoted to prayer and the study of Scripture and am also a grandmother. My husband and I are both ministering in our local area, and I also have an active internet ministry.
I really enjoy the creative process involved in designing blogs and websites, and of course needlework patterns.
